Hi team,
I need to allow users to self-register for an app, which is all fine, it certainly works.
However the verification email and landing page are the boilerplate ones.

I can see that right-clicking on a project in LCM allows me to 'Manage Emails' and specifically provide an email template and define a landing page, which I've done: I've modified the default "verify_email.html" available through LCM and created my own landing page which is both available and is verified within LCM.

However, on creating a test user, I'm still being served up the boilerplate templates, both for the verification email and landing page even though both are set to "custom", a file has been uploaded for the email and the landing page reports "Verified!" when clicking the verify link button.

Am I supposed to do something more than this, or is this a bug?

Many thanks

Last night i was experimenting with syncing 800+ records repeatedly from local -> cloud. On LiveCode side was fine, but when i tried to view in LCM, i just kept getting the 'we appear to be offline' message.

This morning i get a bizarre error that happens immediately on startup. I downloaded the (new?) notarised version of LCM and tried again, after deleting all preferences etc.

It now launches fixed to the San Francisco server with Mark's username on -- but i'm unable to change any details without triggering an error message making this unusable (screenshot:
Been developing a system for a while now with mobile apps and PC/Mac software.

All my users seems to be gone in the cdbUsers table! All other tables (each user have 2 tables) are still there. What is this?

Do you have logs or something to see when it was emptied? Could be somewhere in the latest 7 days this happened. Do you keep backups ?

Besides of that the LiveCloud Manager is working very slowly. UK region.

Hi LiveCloud team,

I'm based in London and have set LCM's region to UK-London.

Performance had been a bit laggy but acceptable. Recently i've been experimenting with different schemas to see how best to store data for a particular project in LiveCloud and have created 3 different iterations of a table with frequent changes up to now in the schema.

However increasingly i'm getting errors where LCM does not refresh, it fails to add tables and fails to add keys. If i keep persisting it eventually works. Or sometimes requires restarting LCM to work and then it it's starts failing again. I was unable to delete a table that couldn't be modified at all, eventually managed it in code using cdb_deleteTable.

I've checked that all communication is definitely getting through my software firewall (Little Snitch 4.5.2, on MacOS Catalina 10.15.6).

It's started generating error messages advising me i should contact Canela, so here i am...
These errors occur any time i choose one of the tables, try to refresh a table, try to add a key or try to add a table. The errors are not exactly reproducible but seem to be increasing in frequency.

This error also shows up when trying to add/modify tables

As a side note, my firewall is flagging up several warnings because the code signature for LiveCloud Manager is not valid (not signed).

(FWIW, the 'London' servers are in Maidenhead, a good 30 miles outside London -- I'm sure this isn't an issue, but calling it London is a stretch! Also not sure why it's connecting to servers in LA and Washington...)

In trying to track down the source of error, i checked the console in case LCM output any diagnostics there. It doesn't it seems, but it did generate number of diagnostic logs, generated by the wakeups, apparently averaging 2332 wakeups per second -- not sure what that means, but here is a sample of the log text:

Hi,

So we're developing mobile apps for both IOS and Android, they are working well, and an application that should run on both Mac and Windows.

On Mac it works well both in development and compiled.

On Windows it gives "The Canela SDK missing. Please export your CandelaDB again" if stack opened in Livecode Business 5.1.

If compiled to a Windows version from Mac, it doesn't work / download data, so no luck there. *CORRECTED: It does work But i tried to log in with a user created in Mac, and I don't think password hash matched. I will try to create new user from the Windows application instead.

I've tried several things. Among them to export the toolkit from a LiveCloud Manager that runs on Windows, in case of encryption being different or something.

As your stacks are encrypted, and encryption results can be different between platforms, could that be the issue here?

Something is wrong in any case ....
