Welcome, Tom,
I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of posts from me as I am committed to LiveCloud and Appli.
I am one that tries to make things happen with both platforms, although I have been using LiveCloud for a while now. 
I'm sure to have questions about Appli and how to stretch its capabilities.
